Air Conditioning Tips

  • In the office, don’t put hot equipment, like photocopiers, near cooling vents. The cooling system will need to work harder to cool an area that is constantly being heated.
  • If you’ve got outside halogen security lights use a movement detector to save wasting energy. Tune it so cats and foxes don’t light up your garden at 4am.
  • Don’t use more light than you need. If you’re only working in one part of the room, why have all the lights on? Don’t strain your eyes, but try not to use more light than you need.
