Painting and Decorating Tips

  • Fit draught excluders to all doors, windows and letter boxes that open to the outside – to reduce the amount of warm air escaping from your home.
  • Keep paint off the handles, hinges and locks by applying some Vaseline on a piece of tissue to them before you start painting. The paint won’t stick to that.
  • Before you start, wrap your roller tray in cling-film and just roll it up and throw it away afterwards.
