Electrical and Maintenance Tips

  • Don’t leave things charging unnecessarily – such as electric toothbrushes, rechargeable batteries or mobile phones.
  • Never put hot food into the fridge – cooling it down requires the fridge to use more energy
  • Make sure you defrost your fridge and freezer on a regular basis, or whenever necessary. An iced up freezer has to work much harder – using more energy.
