Gas and Central Heating Tips

  • Keep doors and windows closed, and draught-proof, in cold weather. If you’re too hot, try turning the heat down first. In warmer weather, when the heating is off anyway, you can let more air in.
  • Make sure you’re not overheating your house at night. A thicker duvet or an extra blanket is more efficient.
  • Nudge your central heating thermostat down just 1°C and you could save 10% on your fuel bills.
