Plumbing and Maintenance Tips
- A blockage in a kitchen sink waste pipe can be cleared by flushing through with washing soda and very hot water. Use this method regularly to prevent blockages forming.
- Don’t use more light than you need. If you’re only working in one part of the room, why have all the lights on? Don’t strain your eyes, but try not to use more light than you need.
- If you’ve got outside halogen security lights use a movement detector to save wasting energy. Tune it so cats and foxes don’t light up your garden at 4am.
