Plumbing and Maintenance Tips

  • To remove scale from a shower head fill a plastic bag with vinegar and tie it round the shower head – this will dissolve mineral deposits.
  • Turn the water off at the mains if you are leaving home for an extended period – particularly in winter.
  • Replace washers on dripping taps. Wasting hot water is an expensive habit.
